Woman dies after falling from cliff in Baitadi

Baitadi: A 29-year-old woman has lost her life after falling from a cliff in Baitadi district.

Sita Bista, a resident of Jamadi, Melauli Municipality-8, sustained severe injuries after falling from a cliff while cutting grass on Paush 29.

According to the District Police Office, Baitadi, she was initially taken to Dadeldhura Hospital for treatment. However, after being transferred to Kesharpur Health Post, Bista succumbed to her injuries during treatment, the police reported.
