Names of 10 construction companies stalling projects in Kanchanpur published, Final clarification sought

Mahendranagar: The Infrastructure Development Office, Kanchanpur, has published the names of 10 construction companies delaying contract works and sought final clarification regarding their unsatisfactory progress.

Operating under the Ministry of Physical Infrastructure Development of the Far West Province, the office issued a notice in a national newspaper, asking the companies to explain why their contracts should not be terminated.

Despite repeated verbal and written reminders, the listed companies failed to resume or expedite their work, prompting the office to take this step. The Infrastructure Development Office has given the companies seven days to submit a final explanation as to why their contracts should not be canceled according to the terms of their agreements and prevailing laws.

The notice warns that failure to resume construction work or provide a satisfactory explanation within the stipulated time will result in contract termination as per the Public Procurement Act, the Public Procurement Regulations, and related laws.

- MD Group Mahendranagar
- Shubham Construction Laljhadi
- Mahakali Construction Company Bhimdatta-4
- SN Construction and Consulting Services
- Nagarjun Construction Services
- Radha Bhanu Construction Services
- Machhan-Bashuling JV Mahendranagar
- Ganapati Construction
- RP Construction Bhimdatta-5

The Infrastructure Development Office has emphasized that delays are causing unnecessary hardship to the public and that strict action will be taken if the companies fail to comply.
