Two arrested with drugs in Kailali

Dhangadhi: Two individuals have been arrested with drugs in Kailali.

Pahalman Shahi, 38, a resident of Sadepani Bazaar, Ghodaghodi Municipality-2, was taken into custody by a police team deployed from the Area Police Office, Sukhad, with 40 milligrams of heroin.

Similarly, Manish Giri, 27, a resident of Jamara Tole, Tikapur Municipality-1, was arrested while crossing from India to Nepal at Bhajani Municipality-3, Kusumghat. Giri was found with 710 milligrams of heroin and was taken into custody by an armed police team deployed from Kusumghat. He has been handed over to the Area Police Office, Bhajani, for necessary action.

Police stated that both individuals are in custody, and further investigation is underway.
