Customs evasion goods worth Rs 42,510 seized in Baitadi

Baitadi: Authorities have seized goods worth approximately Rs 42,510 that were illegally imported from India by evading customs.

The contraband items were confiscated by a police patrol team deployed from the Police Post Barakot, Baitadi. The goods, including sugar, jaggery, gudpatti, lentils, chocolates, bidi, syrup, slippers, almonds, and other items, were discovered along the roadside in Adaripind, Dasharathchand Municipality-10.

The seized items have been taken under control for further investigation and processing.
