Four, including young woman, arrested with heroin at Dhangadhi hotel

Dhangadhi: Four individuals, including a young woman, have been arrested with heroin from a hotel in Dhangadhi.

The arrests were made following a special tip-off regarding drug dealings at the NS Hotel in Chatakpur, Dhangadhi Sub-metropolitan City-3, police said.

The individuals taken into custody are Suresh Bista, 20, of Bedkot Municipality-8, Kanchanpur; Lokendra Chand, 23, of Bhimdatta Municipality-10; Rijan Kathayat, 19, of Dipayal Silgadhi Municipality-8, Doti; and Ashika Sijapati, 18, of Milan Chowk, Dhangadhi Sub-metropolitan City-3.

Police recovered 3 grams and 760 milligrams of heroin from the suspects. They were arrested by a joint team deployed from the Crime Investigation Group of the District Police Office, Kailali, and the temporary police post at Chatakpur. Authorities said all four are currently in custody and that further investigation is ongoing.
