Seven arrested with drugs in Kailali

Dhangadhi: Seven individuals have been arrested in Kailali for possession of heroin, following a coordinated operation by the Narcotics Bureau in Dhangadhi and the District Police Office, Kailali.

Among the arrested is Mahesh Bhatt, 27, who was apprehended with 2 grams and 470 milligrams of the substance from Bhatbhateni in Dhangadhi Sub-metropolitan City-4.

Similarly, Rajesh Rana, 18, and Ram Gopal Rana, 25, both from Pattighatka, were caught with 1 gram and 340 milligrams of heroin in Dhangadhi Sub-metropolitan City-12.

In another instance, Sachin Rawal, 19, from Kharifanta, Janaki Rural Municipality-9, was arrested with 3 grams and 980 milligrams of the drug.

Additionally, three others—Gopal Ramjali Magar, 28, of Dhangadhi Sub-metropolitan City-4; Suresh Chaudhary, 28, of Sangam Tole, Dhangadhi-8; and Manish Chaudhary, 28, of Dhangadhi-1—were arrested near the Transport Office in Dhangadhi Sub-metropolitan City-4 with 1 gram and 590 milligrams of brown heroin.

The arrests were confirmed by the District Police Office, Kailali. Further investigations are underway.
