Illegal goods worth over Rs 3 lakh seized in Kanchanpur

Kanchanpur: Authorities have seized illegal goods valued at Rs 321,621 in Kanchanpur.

The items, smuggled from India while evading customs duties, were confiscated from various locations in the district, including Bhimdatta Municipality-10 near the customs office, Bhimdatta Municipality-11 Bhujela, Dodhara Chandani Municipality-4 Jholunge, and Belauri Municipality-2 Khaireni.

A police patrol team from the District Police Office, Kanchanpur, discovered the goods in disrepair on Wednesday. The confiscated items have been sent to the Customs Office, Gaddachauki, for further action.
