Partly cloudy weather forecast for hilly areas, light rain and snowfall likely

Kathmandu: The weather will remain partly cloudy in the hilly areas and mainly clear in the rest of the country, according to the Meteorological Forecasting Division.

There is a possibility of light rainfall and snowfall at one or two places in the high hilly and mountainous areas of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Karnali provinces. The current weather pattern is attributed to the partial effects of westerly winds and local winds active across the country.

Later tonight, the weather is expected to stay partly cloudy in the hilly areas of Koshi and Gandaki provinces and mainly clear in the remaining parts of the country.
