Tractor carrying sand overturns in Doti, One injured

Dhangadhi: A tractor carrying sand overturned in Doti, leaving one person injured.

The accident occurred at 3:35 PM on Sunday in Dipayal, Silgadhi Municipality-3, when a tractor (Sudar Paschim 01002 Ta 4659) carrying sand from the Seti River overturned on an uphill slope and fell about 10 meters off the road, according to the District Police Office, Doti.

The injured has been identified as 22-year-old Narayan Chaudhary, a resident of Geta, Godavari Municipality-9, Kailali. He has been sent to Shaileshwari Hospital, Dipayal, for treatment.

Meanwhile, the tractor driver, Suresh Nepali of Pulbazar, Dipayal, Silgadhi-3, is absconding, and police have launched a search operation to locate him.
