Three arrested with drugs in Kailali

Kailali: Police have arrested three individuals with drugs in separate incidents in Kailali.

A team from the Area Police Office Malakheti apprehended 29-year-old Jagdish Bhatta, a resident of Patan Municipality-8, Baitadi, from Dhangadhi Road, Godavari Municipality-1. He was found carrying 73 grams and 840 milligrams of drugs in his pocket.

In a separate operation, the District Police Office, Kailali, detained Abhishek Basuwa (22) and Bishnu Gurung (22) of Gauriganga Municipality-1 from Dhangadhi Sub-metropolitan City-1. The duo was found in possession of 190 milligrams of brown heroin.

The arrests were made on Saturday, and further investigations are underway, according to the police.
