First Chaitanya student festival 2081 concludes after eight days of activities
Dhangadhi: The first-ever Chaitanya Student Festival concluded on Saturday after eight days of engaging activities at Chaitanya Pathshala in Shivanagar, Dhangadhi Sub-metropolitan City-5, Kailali.
The festival, which commenced on 27th Paush 2081, was organized by Chaitanya Pathshala as an extension of its annual STEAM Fair Sports Week, incorporating this year’s Winter Camp Fun Fair. Principal Katak Bahadur Singh highlighted that the festival provided students and participants with opportunities to gain knowledge, develop skills, and experience entertainment through various scientific inventions, research projects, sports, debates, and educational discussions.
Singh emphasized the school's educational philosophy, which aims to integrate education and culture, blend Vedic principles with science, and promote respect for nature and heritage. He noted that the festival was a significant step toward the holistic development of students.
The closing ceremony was chaired by the school’s chairman, Ganesh Prasad Joshi, with senior litterateur and epic poet Dr. Nawaraj Lamsal as the chief guest, and the world's youngest Bhagwat reciter, Anuradha Pandey, gracing the event with her divine presence.
Bhagwat reciter Pandey emphasized the importance of discipline, religious values, and intellectual growth through education. She stated that adhering to the guidance of parents, teachers, and rituals fosters learning and happiness.
Dr. Nawaraj Lamsal, the chief guest, underlined the need for students to cultivate discipline and practicality alongside academic achievements. He stressed the importance of personality development, the application of knowledge, and the collaborative roles of students, teachers, and parents in shaping the future.
The festival, held under the slogan "Awakening Knowledge, Respect for Culture, Flow of Innovation," featured diverse activities, including the presence and discourse of Bal Vidushi Anuradha Pandey and an inspiring "Chaitanya Sambad" by Dr. Lamsal. Additionally, the program included a test flight demonstration, scientific invention exhibits, and prize distribution under the STEAM project, leaving a lasting impression on participants.
