Four youths arrested with heroin in Kailali

Dhangadhi: Police in Kailali have arrested four youths in possession of heroin totaling 6 grams.

A joint team from the Area Police Office Tikapur and Police Post Kalakunda apprehended 21-year-old Bishal Shahi of Tikapur-1 from Khakraula, Tikapur Municipality-9. Authorities seized 4 grams and 610 milligrams of heroin from his possession. Shahi is currently in custody at the Area Police Office Tikapur, with further investigation ongoing.

In another operation, a joint team from the Area Police Office Malakheti and the Narcotics Control Bureau Branch Office Dhangadhi arrested 23-year-old Prabin Rana of Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolitan City-13. He was found with 1 gram and 310 milligrams of heroin in Geta, Godavari Municipality-5.

Additionally, acting on a tip-off regarding drug trafficking in Lamki-Chuha Municipality-4, Ballia, police arrested 20-year-old Khemraj Jaishi and 22-year-old Dhiraj Chaudhary. They were found in possession of 80 tramadol tablets, 20 spas tablets, and 16 Abhil tablets. Both have been detained at the Area Police Office Lamki for further investigation, police stated.
