Customs evasion goods worth Rs 93,625 seized in Kanchanpur

Kanchanpur: Police have confiscated goods worth an estimated Rs 93,625 that were illegally imported from India by evading customs in Kanchanpur.

The items, including sugar, sweets, coconuts, electrical goods, hardware, groceries, and other commodities, were seized near the Bhimdatta Municipality-5 Sukasal and Bhimdatta Municipality-10 Customs offices.

A patrol team deployed by units under the District Police Office, Kanchanpur, found the goods in a state of disrepair. The authorities are investigating the matter further.
