Illegal goods worth Rs 11 lakhs seized in Dhangadhi and Godavari

Dhangadhi: Police have seized illegal goods valued at Rs 11 lakhs from various locations in Dhangadhi and Godavari, Kailali.

According to Darshan Khadka, co-spokesperson and Police Inspector at the District Police Office Kailali, the goods were confiscated from the traffic intersection in Dhangadhi, near the Sankhakhosh office, and from Boradadi. Items seized include mobile phone covers, groceries, and socks from various companies.

Additionally, illegal goods worth Rs 38,000 were seized from Godavari Municipality-9, Baluwatar. The confiscated items, including speakers, pump washers, and groceries, have been sent to the customs office for further action, the District Police Office confirmed.
