Elderly woman killed in motorcycle accident in Achham

Dhangadhi: A 72-year-old woman lost her life after being struck by a motorcycle in Achham.

According to the police, Maisara Dhakal, a resident of Muli, Kamalbazar Municipality-1, died on the spot after being hit by a motorcycle. The vehicle, bearing registration number Sudurpaschim Province 01008 Pa 403, was driven by 23-year-old Laxman Bahadur Shahi of Turmakhand Rural Municipality-5. The accident occurred at around 11:50 AM while the woman was crossing the road to cut grass.

Chief of the Achham Police Office, DSP Ishwori Prasad Bhandari, stated that both the motorcycle and the driver have been taken into custody for further investigation.
