Woman dies after being struck by tanker in Darchula

Dhangadhi: A woman lost her life after being struck by a tanker in Darchula district.

According to the District Police Office, Darchula, 55-year-old Harisinh Er, a resident of Naugad Rural Municipality-5, died on Sunday after being hit by a tanker bearing registration number Ba3 Ka 3099. The incident occurred along the Kuleshwor-Naugad road section at Saikebagar, within Naugad Rural Municipality-5.

The tanker was being driven by Surat Tamang, a resident of Sankhuwasabha. Police confirmed that Er died at the scene. The tanker and its driver have been taken into custody for further investigation.
