Mayor Gopal Hamal's health stable, Undergoing treatment in Delhi

Dhangadhi: The health condition of Mayor Gopal Hamal of Dhangadhi Sub-metropolitan City is reported to be stable as he undergoes treatment in Delhi.

According to Mayor Hamal's brother, Shyam Hamal, the mayor is currently receiving care in the Neuro Intensive Care ICU and Stroke Unit of Max Hospital, Saket, Delhi. Doctors are conducting various tests as part of the treatment process.

Shyam Hamal stated that the doctors will keep the mayor under observation for 48 hours before deciding on the next steps in his treatment. Mayor Hamal was transferred to Delhi yesterday from Maya Metro Hospital, Dhangadhi, after complications related to intoxication were observed.

“He was taken to Delhi for further treatment after the intoxication subsided. His condition is stable now, and he is talking as usual,” said Shyam Hamal. Further updates on his health are expected following test results anticipated tomorrow.
