Nine individuals arrested with drugs in Kailali

Dhangadhi: Nine individuals have been arrested with various drugs from different locations in Kailali.

Saroj Chaudhary, 24, of Milan Chowk, Dhangadhi Sub-metropolitan City-3, was arrested with 5 grams and 290 milligrams of heroin. A joint police team from the Ward Police Office, Dhangadhi, Narcotics Control Bureau Branch Office, Dhangadhi, and Police Post, Trinagar, took Chaudhary into custody on Friday.

In another operation, a motorcycle (Se 7 Pa 2408) driven by Avinash Chaudhary, 20, of Kailari Rural Municipality-2, was stopped near Katani Bridge, Kailari Rural Municipality-7. Upon inspection, 410 milligrams of brown heroin were found on Avinash and Dinesh Chaudhary, 20, who was riding pillion. Both were arrested by a police team deployed from the Area Police Office, Rampur.

Additionally, Sumit Ghimire, 24, of Buddha Chowk, Dhangadhi Sub-metropolitan City-8, was arrested with 1 gram and 750 milligrams of brown heroin by a police team from the District Police Office, Kailali. Deepak Bhatta, 38, of Dhangadhi Sub-metropolitan City-13, was arrested with 15 bottles of narcotics known as Onrex near the Old Customs House in Dhangadhi Sub-metropolitan City-2. His arrest was carried out by a joint team from the Ward Police Office, Dhangadhi, and the Narcotics Control Bureau Branch Office, Dhangadhi.

Furthermore, based on confidential information, a police team arrested four individuals, including Diplal Rana, from Deoria, Dhangadhi Sub-metropolitan City-7, with 110 milligrams of narcotics.

The police have initiated further investigations into the cases.
