52-year-old man goes missing in Baitadi

Baitadi: A 52-year-old man from Kotigaun, Melauli Municipality-8, Baitadi, has been reported missing since Friday night.

According to his son, Ashok Singh Bista, Prem Singh Bista left home at around 2 a.m. on Friday and has not been in contact since. Although calls to his mobile phone were ringing until Saturday, they went unanswered. By Sunday, the phone was found switched off.

Prem Singh Bista lived with his wife, and the circumstances surrounding his disappearance remain unclear. His family has searched for him among friends, relatives, and possible locations but has not been able to locate him. Preparations are underway to file a formal complaint with the police.

Ashok Singh Bista, who is currently in Kathmandu, said he is planning to return home to assist in the search for his father.
