Woman killed in jeep accident in Bajura

Bajura: A 60-year-old woman lost her life after being hit by a jeep in Pandusain, Budhinanda Municipality, Bajura.

The jeep (No. 01-001-4430), traveling from Kolti to Martadi, struck Rupisawa Dhami while she was walking along the road, leaving her critically injured. Dhami, originally from Budhinanda-10 and residing at her daughter’s home in Budhinanda-9, Pandusain, succumbed to her injuries en route to Kolti Basic Hospital for treatment, according to Deputy Superintendent of Police Dilip Kumar Giri of the District Police Office.

The driver of the jeep has been taken into custody, and an investigation into the incident is underway, confirmed the District Police Office, Bajura.
