Five arrested with drugs in Kailali
Dhangadhi: Five individuals have been arrested in Kailali for possession of heroin, according to the District Police Office, Kailali.
Shankar Rana, 24, of Dhangadhi Sub-metropolitan City-13, was apprehended at Trinagar Bhansar Chowk, Dhangadhi Sub-metropolitan City-2, with 4 grams and 880 milligrams of heroin. The arrest was made by a joint police team from the Narcotics Control Bureau Branch, Dhangadhi, and Police Post Trinagar.
Avtar Hussain, 30, originally from Birendranagar Municipality-14, Surkhet District, and currently running a clothing shop in Attariya, Godavari Municipality-1, Kailali, was arrested near Trinagar Barrel, Dhangadhi Sub-metropolitan City-2. A joint police team from the Narcotics Control Bureau Branch, Dhangadhi, and Police Post Trinagar seized 9 grams and 670 milligrams of brown heroin along with his motorcycle (Se 7 Pa 155).
In separate operations, Raj Kumar Rana, 35, of Manehara, Dhangadhi Sub-metropolitan City-7, was caught with 90 milligrams of heroin, and Bhakta Rana, 42, of Dhangadhi Sub-metropolitan City-8, was arrested with 2 grams and 230 milligrams of heroin. Both were apprehended by a police team deployed from the District Police Office, Kailali.
Additionally, Santosh Rana, 24, of Kailaligaun, Dhangadhi Sub-metropolitan City-13, was found with 120 milligrams of heroin. He was also taken into custody by a police team from the District Police Office, Kailali.
The police have confirmed that further investigation is ongoing regarding the arrests made on Thursday.
