Baitadi youth found dead in India

Baitadi: A youth from Baitadi district has been found dead in India while returning home from overseas employment.

Tekendra Dhami, 26, of Gurukhola, Dasharathchand Municipality-1, was found dead in Murdabad, India. Dhami had been working in Qatar for the past six months but was sent home after developing mental health issues. Following treatment in Qatar, he had shown some signs of recovery.

Although his employer had arranged a ticket for him to travel from Qatar to Kathmandu via Delhi, Dhami chose to return home by road instead of boarding the plane from Delhi. During the journey, he reportedly fled from a vehicle while it was being refueled.

A search operation was launched with the assistance of Indian police, and Dhami's body was discovered on Wednesday morning. He is survived by his wife and daughter.
