Air service to Dudhwa set to launch; Highway service from Lucknow to follow
Lucknow: Air travel to Dudhwa National Park is set to become a reality, with an eight-seater plane connecting Lucknow to Dudhwa. Ticket booking for the service will commence on December 1.
The Lakhimpur Mahotsav will kick off on November 25, with Uttar Pradesh Tourism Minister Jaiveer Singh inaugurating the event at Dudhwa National Park. Coinciding with the festival, air service for tourists visiting Dudhwa will also begin. Minister Singh is expected to land at the Palia airstrip via plane, with Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath potentially flagging off the service from Lucknow.
Preparations are underway by the tehsil administration for the Lakhimpur Mahotsav in Paliakalan, which will begin from Dudhwa. The formal inauguration of the Palia airstrip is also scheduled for the same day. After landing at the airstrip, Minister Singh will proceed to Dudhwa.
The air service will see eight-seater planes operating between Lucknow and the Palia airstrip, with cultural programs planned to enhance the experience for visitors. Starting December 1, three daily flights are expected to operate, with a one-way ticket priced at approximately ₹5,000.
This development aims to enhance tourism accessibility to Dudhwa, providing travelers with convenient and efficient travel options.
