One killed, One injured in landslide at Achham quarry

Achham: A landslide at a quarry in Achham has left one person dead and another injured.

According to the District Police Office, Achham, 63-year-old Nar Bahadur Khadka of Mellekh Rural Municipality-5, Kaulena, died on the spot after a dry landslide struck while he was extracting stone.

His nephew, 48-year-old Bhim Bahadur Khadka, sustained injuries in the incident, which occurred at 2 PM on Sunday. He is currently undergoing treatment at Bayalpata Hospital.
