In-charges of seven border checkpoints in Kailali replaced

Dhangadhi: The in-charges of seven border checkpoints in Kailali along the Nepal-India border have been replaced due to security concerns, according to Padam Bahadur Bista, Chief of the District Police Office, Kailali.
Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) Narendra Singh Raikhola has been assigned to the Rampur checkpoint, replacing Padam Karki, who is on medical leave after being injured in an assault by a group of smugglers. A case has been registered against one of the individuals involved in the incident, said District Police Office spokesperson Kavindra Bohara.
Senior Sub-Inspector (SSI) Narendra Chand has been deployed at the Kalakunda checkpoint, while SSI Bishan Bhatta has been transferred from Kalakunda to the Faltude checkpoint. SSI Samudra Keshar Pant has moved from Dhangadhi Airport to take charge of the Trinagar checkpoint, replacing SSI Shailendra Chand, who has been reassigned to the Asara Correctional Center in Phulbari.
Additionally, SSI Chankha Kathayat has been posted to the Phulbari outpost, SSI Netra Kathayat to the Jugeda outpost, SSI Byad Thakurathi to the Hasulia outpost, and SSI Jeevan Gurung to the Prithvipur outpost. Former Phulbari outpost in-charge Khemraj Pant has been transferred to the District Police Office, while Sub-Inspector Rajendra Bam of Jugeda is now in charge of Dhangadhi Prison. Similarly, former Hasulia in-charge SSI Lokendra Bahadur Chand has also been reassigned to the District Police Office, Kailali.
