Fugitive arrested after 8 years in public health security case

Kanchanpur: A fugitive from Kanchanpur involved in a public interest health security case has been arrested after evading authorities for eight years.

The District Court, Kanchanpur, had issued a verdict on Jestha 4, 2073 BS, imposing a fine of Rs 2,000 on Binod Rawal, 30, a resident of Nayagaun, Bedkot Municipality-10. Rawal was apprehended from his residence on Monday by a police team deployed from Police Post Suda, Kanchanpur. He has since been presented in court.
