Motorable bridge to connect Baitadi and Dadeldhura over Surnaya river

Baitadi: A motorable bridge is set to be constructed over the Surnaya River, linking Koltadi in Baitadi and Radil in Dadeldhura.

The Ministry of Finance has approved the construction project, which will be executed through the Ministry of Urban Development and proceed via a contract process. According to Karnasingh Saund, Chairman of Shivnath Rural Municipality in Baitadi, the bridge will be built under a multi-year contract with an estimated cost of NPR 284.8 million.

The construction is targeted for completion by 2084 BS, with the budget already allocated for the project. Chairman Saund stated that the bridge will significantly benefit citizens of both Baitadi and Dadeldhura districts, improving connectivity and accessibility between the regions.
